What to paste
The checker does not need your name, address, bank details, card number, password, one-time passcode, identity documents, medical details or full message history. Remove sensitive information before checking a message.
Accounts and permissions
ScamPause does not require account creation, contacts, location, camera, microphone or photo-library access to check text.
Advertising and tracking
The released build does not require advertising tracking to identify common scam pressure signals.
Purchases
ScamPause does not direct you to an external checkout. Any Apple purchase offered by the released build is managed through the App Store under Apple’s terms.
Changes
This notice will be updated before a release that materially changes how ScamPause handles information.
